Indonesia ~ Birds of Paradise

(100,-) The western parotia (Parotia sefilata), endemic to Indonesia the western parotia is found only in the mountain forests of Vogelkop and the Wandammen Peninsula of Western New Guinea.

(150,-) The twelve-wired-bird-of-paradise (Seleucides melanoleuca) is a medium-sized, velvet black and yellow bird-of-paradise. Its a lowland forests bird. The male displays on an exposed vertical perch with its breast-shield flared. Its diets consists mainly of fruits and arthropods.

(250,-) The red-bird-of-paradise (Paradisaea rubra), an Indonesian endemic distributed to lowland rainforests of Waigeo and Batanta islands of Raja Ampat, West Papua.

Indonesia ~ Cockatoo

Salmon-crested cockatoo (Cacatua moluccensis), is a cockatoo endemic to to the south Moluccas in -eastern Indonesia. In the wild the salmon-crested cockatoo inhabits lowland forest below 1000 m. The diet consist mainly of seeds, nuts and fruit as well as coconuts and also eat meat.

Sulphur-crested cockatoo (Cacatua galerita galerita), is a relatively large white cockatoo found in wooded habitats in Australia and New Guinea and some of the islands in Indonesia.

Palm cockatoo (Probosciger aterrimus stenolophus), also known as the goliath cockatoo or great black cockatoo is a large smoky-grey or black parrot of the cockatoo family native to New Guinea and far north Queensland, Australia.

The Malayan peacock-pheasant (Polyplectron malacence) is a medium-sized pheasant of the galliform family Phasianidae.

The Milky stork (Mycterea cinerea) is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae. This species occurs in Cambodia, peninsular Malaysia, and the Indonesian islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali, Sumbawa, Sulawesi and Buton.

The Malayan whistling thrush (Myophonus robinsoni), is a species bird in the Muscicapidae family. It is endemic to Malaysia. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
