Mountain Scops Owl (Otus spilocephalus), is sometimes referred to as the spotted scops owl. It is locally common in its main habitat which covers some parts of Asia, including Bhutan, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Taiwan, and Thailand. It has a short high-pitched call similar to the sound a radar makes.

Eastern Grass Owl (Tyto longimembris), or Australian Grass Owl is a species of owl in the Tytonidae family. It is found in Australia, Bangladesh, China, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Myanmar, Nepal, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Taiwan ~ Tawny Fish Owl

Tawny Fish Owl (Ketupa flavipes), this typical owl is found in subtropical to temperate forests in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan and Vietnam. It eats fish, crabs, shrimps, frogs, toads, lizards, snakes and small mammals such as moles, and particularly rodents like mice, voles and rats. It also prey on birds like Mandarin duck in Taiwan. The owl occupies a river stretch of 5.5 - 7.7 km in length.
